Pick up lines should never be used when attempting to attract a woman.

Women of beauty are hit on more times in a day than hours on the clock. By the time they reach their early twenties they have already started building up a shield to pick up attempts. Openers like ‘you look beautiful’, ‘can I buy you a drink’ along with hundreds of other attempts and pick up lines have passed through their ears thousands of times by thousands of men.

Women begin associating these common sayings or attempts if you will with just another looser guy trying to hit on them. Any common attempts are rejected before they’re even started. They become numb to it. Rightly so. I’m not interested or no thanks becomes a conditioned response that women use on a daily basis to brush you off.

Striking a conversation with a woman you don’t know in a way that grabs and holds her attention is a difficult task for this exact reason. This is known as the approach. Approaching a woman correctly is a very crucial step. If you come off threatening to her or as just another guy trying to make your move you’re not going to get anywhere. She has to feel attracted to you. This attraction is not based on your looks; any exact words you say or how confident you are (although confidence helps). It is based off of her emotions.

Beautiful women are use to guys flattering, obsessing over them, using pick up lines, buying drinks, and bending over backwards for their attention.

To create an attraction from a beautiful woman during the initial approach don’t compliment her looks, don’t buy her drinks, and don’t let her think you’re there for her.

You should never compliment a woman the moment you meet her. Never compliment her looks either. Any superficial compliment will instantly set a buzzer off in her head that you are trying to hook up with her. 9 out of 10 guys make this fatal mistake. She knows she is beautiful; she gets it from every other guy that tells her. Compliments should always be earned. She doesn’t earn a complement because she is hot.

If she walked up to you and said hey I like your BMW, we should hang out what’s your number. What are you going to think? This chick wants me for my car. Get lost.

She has to earn her compliments by doing something that deserves them.

Focus on compliments that show you’re appreciation of her:

• You have a good energy about you.
• I like your personality.
• I like how you can keep up.
• I like your playful attitude.
• You’re quick on your feet.
• You seem like a fun girl.
• I feel like I’ve known you for ever.
• You’re funny
• I like the way you carry yourself.
• You’re very personable.
• You’re very confident.
• I like your shirt it matches your eyes and necklace. Did you choose that yourself?

The difference is you are complimenting her on things that are tangible. She had to do something to receive those compliments. They have meaning behind them. They show her that you understand who she is on several different levels. She realizes you’re not there to just try and hook up with her, but that there is a deeper connection between the two of you.

Furthermore, she begins to believe that you aren’t phased by a woman’s beauty and are capable of noticing traits within her that are true to who she is as a person. This makes you a man of value and demonstrates confidence and understanding. Have the notion that she has to impress you in some way other than her looks to receive a compliment. Don’t give out compliments blindly. Compliments are only deserved if she actually does something to demonstrate it.
